Strikecast ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles information.

1. Information We Collect

Strikecast is a read-only analytics app. We do not require account registration and do not collect personally identifiable information.

• Usage data: The app may send anonymous requests to our backend API (hosted on Render) to retrieve football match predictions. No personal data is included in these requests.
• AI chat messages: When you use the AI chat feature, your messages are sent directly to the Anthropic API to generate responses. Messages are not stored or logged by Strikecast.
• Device data: We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or contact information.

2. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic API: Powers the in-app AI chat assistant. Messages are processed under Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Render: Hosts our prediction backend. No personal data is transmitted to this service.
• Expo / EAS: Used to build and distribute the app.

3. Data Storage

Strikecast does not maintain a user database. No personal data is stored on our servers. Any preferences (e.g., favorite teams) are stored locally on your device only.

4. Children's Privacy

Strikecast is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.

5. For Entertainment Only

Strikecast predictions are for informational and entertainment purposes only. The app is not associated with any gambling or betting service.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
